On India’s 80th Independence Day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced free online coaching for youth. He stated that the increasing cost of coaching classes has become a financial burden for poor and middle-class families.

The Prime Minister said that the growing dependence on private coaching is putting a financial strain on these families. He announced that free online coaching will be made available for various competitive exams.

This initiative will provide opportunities for young people to prepare for exams without the expense of private coaching. It will also help students in areas where specialized coaching facilities are not readily available.

Furthermore, the initiative aims to address the issue of unequal access to coaching facilities, which often hinders the progress of talented students from disadvantaged backgrounds. Preparing for competitive exams often involves not only coaching but also costs associated with study materials, transportation, and accommodation. The free online coaching initiative aims to reduce these expenses.

AI Training for Youth

In addition to the free online coaching announcement, the Prime Minister launched another major initiative for young people. He stated that over the next year, one million youth will receive training in Artificial Intelligence (AI) through special training programs.

The Prime Minister noted that we are living in an era of robotics, AI, quantum technology, space, and data centers. Emerging technologies are presenting new challenges, and India must move forward to become a global innovation hub.

The goal of a developed India by 2047 was also reiterated by the Prime Minister. He said that the country has set a big target, and India’s youth will be among the largest beneficiaries and contributors to achieving this goal.

According to the report, the Prime Minister’s announcements are part of the government’s efforts to support the development of the country’s youth and promote economic growth.

The AI training program is expected to equip young people with the skills required to thrive in an increasingly technology-driven economy.
