Amazon sale offers big discounts on Pixel 10, Galaxy S25

The Amazon Great Freedom Sale begins August 7, offering discounts on smartphones and electronics. The company has started revealing deal prices for devices like the Google Pixel 10 series, Samsung Galaxy S25 series, and OnePlus 15 ahead of the sale. This event marks one of the year’s most anticipated shopping periods in India, where consumers often delay major purchases to capitalize on such promotions.

Pixel 10 series gets steep discounts

The Google Pixel 10 base model will be available for 62,999 rupees, down from its retail price of 79,999 rupees. The Pixel 10 Pro and Pixel 10 Pro XL will also see price cuts. The Pro model will sell for 99,999 rupees (originally 1,09,999 rupees), while the Pro XL will be priced at 1,14,999 rupees (originally 1,24,999 rupees).

Buyers should note that inventory for high-demand models may deplete quickly. The sale prices are exclusive to Amazon, meaning customers won’t find these rates on other platforms or in physical retail stores during the same window. Additionally, the discounts do not include exchange bonuses, which are often offered separately during such events.

Samsung and OnePlus deals revealed

The Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra will be part of the sale, though its final discounted price hasn’t been announced yet. The company is expected to reveal it closer to the start date.

The Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra will see a price drop from 1,99,999 rupees to 1,90,999 rupees. Meanwhile, the OnePlus 15 will be available for 81,999 rupees, and the iQOO 15R for 46,999 rupees.

Most of these discounts appear to be instant price reductions rather than cashback offers, making them straightforward for buyers. This approach simplifies the purchasing process, as customers see the final price upfront without needing to handle rebate forms or wait for refunds.

Additional bank discounts could lower prices further

Amazon is also offering bank-specific discounts during the sale. Customers paying with Axis, ICICI, or DBS bank cards can get up to 7.5% instant discount. HDFC bank card users may qualify for an additional discount of up to 10,000 rupees on select purchases. These bank offers are designed to incentivize digital payments.

These offers stack with the already reduced sale prices, potentially bringing costs down even more. However, the terms and conditions for these bank offers typically include minimum purchase requirements and may not apply to all products. Buyers must also ensure their cards are registered for online transactions, as some banks require prior activation for such offers. Additionally, the discounts are usually processed at checkout, meaning customers must select the correct payment method before finalizing the order.

The sale runs from August 7, with some deals likely extending beyond the initial launch window. Buyers are advised to check Amazon’s official sale page for real-time updates on pricing and availability. The platform often introduces “lightning deals” during the first few hours, offering deeper discounts on limited stock. These deals are time-bound, sometimes lasting only a few minutes, and require quick action from shoppers.
